After you’ve made your plasma donation appointment, head to PlasmaSource to complete your donation. At check-in, mention that you are a first-time donor. Our welcoming team members will ensure you’re comfortable during your donation, and you’ll get snacks!
Your base $50 payment will be automatically sent to you after your donation is completed. Your $50 bonus will be sent within 2 days of your donation. You can earn up to $760 total for your first 8 plasma donations.
Eligibility Requirements and Information
To be eligible to give plasma, you must live within the designated PlasmaSource collections area, about a 30-mile radius from a PlasmaSource donation center, as well as:
Be between 18 and 69 years of age.
Weigh at least 110 pounds (50 kilograms).
Be in good physical health; be symptom-free if you have had the flu or a cold.
Test negative for transmissible infectious diseases.
Disclose all current medications and medical conditions.
Complete a health screening and physical exam (weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, anemia, and protein levels).
Complete a comprehensive medical history screening.
Avoid taking aspirin for 48 hours before your donation.
Be at least six months postpartum (please check with your doctor before donating).
